Team Outing Ideas in St. Paul

Most team outing ideas in St. Paul ask coworkers to do something: solve a puzzle, swing a club, cook together. A comedy show only asks them to sit down and laugh. Laugh Camp Comedy Club in downtown St. Paul brings national and regional comedians to a 150-seat room inside Camp Bar.

Why a Comedy Show Works for a Team

It's low pressure. Nobody has to compete or be good at anything, and the team walks out with something to talk about besides work. It's also easy to plan: pick a date, buy tickets and send one calendar invite.

How to Plan It

1. Pick a show. Browse the show calendar. Showtimes vary by comedian.
2. Book reserved seats in one order. Reserved seats are held at tables in the best section, so the team sits together.
3. Plan the pre-show. Camp Bar serves Heggies Pizza, craft beer and cocktails. For a sit-down dinner, Alary's (139 7th St E) validates parking in the Block 19 Ramp.
4. Be seated by showtime. Reserved seats not claimed 10 minutes after the show starts become general admission.

Is the Comedy Work-Appropriate?

These are club shows, and material varies by comedian. Read the comic's bio on the show page before you book.
