Baron Vaughn is an actor, writer, director, and standup comedian. As an actor, he’s known as “Bud” on Netflix’s Grace & Frankie and is the voice of “Tom Servo” in Netflix’s Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return. He’s also been a recurring guest star on Comedy Central’s Corporate, Tru TV’s Those Who Can’t, NBC’s Superstore, and appeared in the films Cloverfield and Black Dynamite. He also stars in the upcoming indie The Song of the Bigfoot alongside Tre Hale and Vivian Bang. Baron was the co-creator and cohost of Comedy Central’s The New Negroes and Funny or Die’s Call & Response both with indie rapper Open Mike Eagle. Baron’s directorial debut, the short film So Much to Do, featuring Toni Trucks, can be seen in the horror anthology Scare Package on Shudder. More recently, Baron directed the uber popular Netflix comedy special Brian Simpson: Live From The Mothership.
