Langston Kerman is an LA-based comedian, writer, and actor who will star opposite Jonah Hill and Kristen Wiig in the upcoming Warner Bros film, CUT OFF, also directed by Jonah Hill. In TV, he was just cast to star opposite Jake Johnson in the Untitled NBC pilot from Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici. He will also next be seen in Amazon's upcoming Barbershop series, a TV adaptation of the MGM movies.
Langston's hour-long comedy special Bad Poetry, directed and produced by John Mulaney, was released last year by Netflix. It was named one of the best 10 specials of the year by Vulture, and Jason Zinoman, the NY Times comedy/culture critic, calls it a "terrific debut hour."
He starred in, co-created and executive produced Bust Down (Peacock). He wrote for and appeared in Everybody's Live With John Mulaney (Netflix). As an actor, his credits include roles on Abbott Elementary (ABC), English Teacher (FX), The Boys (Amazon), Insecure (HBO), Bless This Mess (ABC), Not Dead Yet (ABC), South Side (HBO Max) and The Other Black Girl (Hulu/Onyx).
He was the head writer/one of the Executive Producers of Pause With Sam Jay (HBO), which was nominated for a WGA award for its first and second seasons. Langston co-hosts the podcast, My Momma Told Me. His Comedy Central Half-Hour Special aired in September 2018 along with the release of his debut comedy album "Lightskinned Feelings."
