Ellie Hino with James Stanley and Lahiru Samarasinghe
Ellie Hino with James Stanley and Lahiru Samarasinghe
Ellie Hino is a Minneapolis based stand-p comic with a heart of gold. She appeared in the 2019 and 2021 Limestone Comedy Festivals, Boston’s Women in Comedy festival, and was featured in “best of the fest” at 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival. Recently, she’s been lucky enough to feature for Maria Bamford, Atsuko Okatsuka, Dana Gould and Bobcat Goldthwait.
Ellie is a super fun mom, a mediocre wife, and an all around delight. Her comedy is silly and honest, sometimes focusing on the naked truths of married life and motherhood. Yeah, she lives in the suburbs now, but she’s like, still cool.Lahiru Samarasinghe
Lahiru Samarasinghe has been performing standup in the Twin Cities since 2016. In 2022, he was a part of the 10,000 Laughs Comedy Festival in Minneapolis, MN. He is also the host and producer of several shows around the Twin Cities, including Second Best Medicine: A Comedy Show for Charity at the Underground Music Venue and Robot Takeover at The Comedy Corner Underground. By viewing his experience as the oldest American-born child of a Sri Lankan family through a silly lens, Lahiru is able to share his life in a way to which audiences can relate.
