Carlos Sánchez is a stand-up comedian from the Dominican Republic with over 20 years in the business, widely known as "El Rey del Stand-Up Comedy" in the DR. He performs entirely in Spanish, drawing on relatable family material — parents, marriage, kids — in a clean, conversational style he pioneered on Dominican stages. Carlos has performed at prestigious venues including Carolines on Broadway, the New York Comedy Festival, and the Festival Internacional del Humor in Bogotá, and has appeared at Netflix Is a Joke Festival and Miami es un Chiste. He is the creator of Esto No Son Horas, one of the most successful long-running shows in the Dominican Republic, and a winner of the Premios Soberano "Stand-Up Comedy del Año" award.
